Autoflush drawing
	Causes the window server to flush the contents after every drawing operation

Flash screen updates - (yellow)
	Regions of the screen that are about to be updated are painted yellow, followed by a brief pause, followed by the actual screen update. Regions that are under a DisableUpdate are painted orange and regions which are hardware accelerated are painted green.

Flash identical updates - (red)
	Regions of the screen that were modified, but whose pixels did not change, are painted red, followed by a brief pause, followed by the update.

No delay after flash
	The brief pause in the options above is removed

Quartz Extreme status
	If grey, hardware does not support Quartz Extreme. If green, Quartz Extreme is enabled. If red, Quartz Extreme is disabled.

Quartz 2D Extreme status
	If grey, hardware does not support Quartz 2D Extreme. If green, Quartz 2D Extreme is enabled. If red, Quartz Extreme is disabled.

Enable/Disable Quartz Extreme menu item
	Enables or disables Quartz Extreme. This setting takes effect immediately. Setting is not sticky. 

Enable/Disable Quartz 2D Extreme menu item
	Enables or disables Quartz 2D Extreme. Applications have to be restarted. Setting is sticky across reboots

Show/Hide Framemeter
	Shows or hides the framemeter. The meter shows the number of screen updates per seconds.

Show User Interface Resolution
	Allows the user to set the user interface scale factor. Applications have to be restarted. Setting is sticky across reboots. 

Show Window List
	Shows the list of all windows in the system. Windows colored in green are hardware accelerated using Quartz 2D Extreme. Windows colored in grey are compressed because they are inactive. The list is updated every second. This can be modified in the Preferences.
